Attending the 2026 Festival
The Sandstone Ice Festival is free of charge to attend, spectate, and climb*. All persons must have a wristband to enter throughout the weekend. You receive a wristband by completing the waiver.
You MUST sign a waiver to enter the the festival grounds. This includes all minors, spectators, and climbers alike.
You can sign a digital waiver below (coming soon), or can sign a waiver in-person when you arrive at the festival. Upon completing the waiver, you will receive a wrist band.
See below for our digital waiver (coming soon). If you sign the waiver digitally, you can pick up your wristband anytime Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Festival hours of operation can be found at the “Schedule of Events Tab”. The park is open to the public as per the city of Sandstones park rules.
On-site, the festival will have pit-toilets for use, and port-o-potties as well.
The “Vendor Village”, as hosted by Lake State Mountaineering, will feature gear and goods for sale. LSM accepts card payments.
Yummy warm beverages will be for sale from Backwoods Coffee.
Hot steam saunas will be available for use. More info coming soon.
We will also have demonstrations from the St. Croix County Sherriff Departments Search-and-Rescue teams.
*The park is open for climbing. However, certain walls and climbs will be reserved for use by the clinic provider, Kaf Adventures, and have full priority of the climbs.

Dress warm, have fun, be aware of your surroundings. Falling ice near the cliff walls is an ever-present hazard. You are responsible for your own safety.
